Take a scenic cable ride from World Trade Center to Sentosa Island. Visit the Pioneers of Singapore Museum, which depicts Singapore's colonial history and its immigrants, as well as the Surrender Chambers which features the Japanese invasion during the Second World War. Continue to visit the Underwater World, Asia's largest tropical oceanarium housing over 3,000 marine specimens. The fascinating Underwater World begins with the "Touch Pool" where you can get a feel of starfish sea cucumbers and more. Further on, pause at the Tidal Pool to see samples of multi colored, living soft corals, and family for that nose to nose encounter with all those sea creatures traveling on a moving walkway through a Perspex tunnel. Visitors can see a large variety of marine species swimming within touching distance. Wrap yourself in the luxuriant freshness of the cool sea breeze, as you return to mainland via the new causeway.
